We have been screen printing rice paper laminates for 25 years on the Central Coast of California. Just this year 2006, we acquired direct printing equipment for short runs. So we offer the old standard screen printed rice paper and now direct digital printing rice paper laminates.

use the finest "silky heavy" Japanese rice paper
for printing laminates - thick enough to hold the opacity
of the ink, and totally clear when laminated. The screen printed
ink we use does not bleed or fade under normal UV conditions.
The polyester or epoxy resins and catalyst do not interfere
with the ink we use. Now we can do short runs on our digital press! |

Most of the time printing laminates we gang up a couple of different sizes
of your logo or even a couple of different logos you might have and place
them altogether to fit a 14"x 15" piece of rice paper.
That way we can run off 50 sheets and get about 200 logos.

Our new digital press can print rice paper directly with water based dyed inks that will not bleed when laminated with polyester or epoxy resin & catalyst. They are also UV proof up to 5 years, though they are not opaque inks, sort of transparent, but against a white (foam) background they look great. When laminated over a colored board, they are not opaque and the wood stringer will show though, slightly. We can mail you a sample if you like. Prices are below. *Note : Only extra fee would be Art charges at $40 per hour, to set up multiple logos, unless you do it yourself . No screen charges, no set up fees. Just UPS or US Mail shipping costs and CA sales tax, if applied. |
